Hallmark, the well-known greeting card company, regularly accepts writing submissions through its writing contests. They post a theme and accept entries through a specific date. Past themes have included:
- - A very tacky Christmas
- - Happy Mother’s Day Unleashed
- - Maxine’s Crabby Contest
Winners can earn cash prizes and have their work appear in greeting cards and books.
There are only a few days left in this month’s contest, but not to worry. Hallmark has hosted 35 competitions so far and does not show signs of stopping. Check out the contest page for rules. Good luck.
